IronMat ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use the IronMat iOS application.
Information We Collect
IronMat stores the following data locally on your device only:
- Training session logs (date, duration, type, notes, techniques, submissions)
- Mood entries
- Technique library entries
- Training goals
- Gym class schedule
- Photos and videos attached to sessions (stored in your device's Documents directory)
- User profile information (name, belt, gym name)
- XP, level, badges, and streak data
Location Data
If you enable the Auto Gym Detection feature, IronMat requests access to your device location to create a geofence around your gym. Location data is processed on-device only and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party. You can disable location access at any time in your iPhone's Settings.
Photos and Videos
If you attach photos or videos to training sessions, IronMat requests access to your photo library. Media files are saved locally within the app's Documents directory. We do not upload your photos or videos to any server.
Notifications
IronMat may send you local push notifications for training reminders and class schedule alerts. These are scheduled entirely on your device. We do not use a push notification service or transmit any data off-device to deliver notifications.
Subscription & Payments
IronMat uses Apple's in-app purchase system (StoreKit) for subscription management. All payment processing is handled directly by Apple. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment information. Please review Apple's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle payment data.
Data We Do NOT Collect
- We do not have servers that store your personal data
- We do not use analytics SDKs or third-party tracking
- We do not sell your data to anyone
- We do not collect advertising identifiers
Data Storage & Security
All app data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. Your data is protected by your device's built-in security (passcode, Face ID, Touch ID) and encrypted storage. If you delete the app, all locally stored data is removed from your device.
Children's Privacy
IronMat is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
